The Brocton Central School District is excited to announce that February is Career and Technical Education Month. This month, we highlight the importance of career and technical education (CTE) in preparing students for successful futures. Through various programs and initiatives through the Brocton Central School District and Erie 2-BOCES, students have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop skills that are critical in today's fast-paced and ever-evolving job market. Our goal is to inspire students to explore different career options and to understand the value of technical skills alongside academic knowledge. Join us in celebrating the achievements of our students and educators in CTE, and let's work together to build a brighter future for all!

Below is a link that will take you to the 2024-2025 Digital Equity Survey to collect accurate data regarding digital resource access for our K-12 students. This will help our educators to better serve our students and their families. In order to accomplish this, the New York State Education Department is asking parents and/or guardians of K-12 students to complete a Digital Equity Survey for each child. This survey will provide information on student access to devices and internet access in their places of residence. To assist us in this process, please complete the following survey by Sunday, January 31, 2025. https://forms.gle/LaWxoWhdLeCKLGLP7

As we step into the new year, the Brocton Central School District would like to take a moment to highlight a crucial issue that deserves our attention and action: January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. This observance serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing fight against human trafficking, a crime that affects millions of individuals around the world, including our own communities. Human trafficking is not merely a distant problem; it is a stark reality that can manifest in various forms, including sex trafficking, labor trafficking, and exploitation of vulnerable populations. Throughout this month, the Brocton Central School District urges the community to join the effort to raise awareness about this pressing issue. Simple actions, such as sharing information on social media, attending local awareness events or volunteering with organizations working to combat trafficking, can make a significant difference.
