Ms. Bartok's Kindergarten class was happy to receive the shipment of their published book, "Our Favorite Things About Kindergarten". Each student got a chance to write and illustrate their favorite part of this school year!

During the Board of Education meeting held yesterday evening, June 11th, Mr. Oldham honored Raelynn M. as the June Middle School Student of the Month (pictured) and Cadance A. as the June High School Student of the Month (not pictured). Additionally, Mr. Delcamp and Mr. Mead-Colegrove recognized Mrs. Abigail Walker as the Employee of the Month for June (pictured). The Board also welcomed the Book Buffs, accompanied by their advisor, Mr. Jacob Galofaro. The Book Buffs were celebrated for securing third place out of 21 teams at the Battle of Books event, which took place on May 10th at the Chautauqua Institution. Mr. Delcamp acknowledged Ja’Siah M. (pictured), Alyssa D. (pictured), Brody C. (pictured), Emma K. (pictured), and Kayden D. (not pictured). Congratulations to all these distinguished individuals!

Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to join us for the Kindergarten and Senior clap out. It was truly a great day! Thank you to all those involved in making this happen for our students and those taking photos for us though the whole event so we can share with everyone.

So thankful for Brocton Central School and the opportunities they offer our students. Older students get opportunities to work with younger ones, and the younger ones get so many opportunities to explore areas and learn through hands-on experiences. Today Mrs. Persch, Mrs. Delcamp, Mrs. Stark, Mrs. Timmerman Ms.Tye and Mrs. Marczynski's classes got to learn all about habitat and what it takes to care for all different animals at the Erie Zoo.

Mr. Maas hosted a Geometry regents review/pizza dinner for students grades 10-12. About 20 students came to get in that extra bit of prep before their test! Kudos to all the teachers and students who have been working hard for regents!

On Saturday, June 7th, 24 students represented Brocton at the annual CCMTA Spring All-County music festival at the Chautauqua Institution. Students spent all day learning from guest conductors and ended the evening with a performance on the stage of the historic amphitheater. Great job everyone! Your music teachers are so proud of you!

Senior year is full of many events. We invite the community to join the seniors for a baccalaureate in honor of the Class of 2025. Please see the attached information if you are interested in joining.

June marks World Pride Month, and the Brocton Central School District aims to foster a sense of belonging and support for all students, ensuring that everyone feels valued and respected.

Our Middle/High School and Elementary Swim Clubs have finished their Spring sessions. Most students that swam in the fall returned for the spring session. Stroke technique was worked on while endurance got better. What a wonderful opportunity for our students to get in the water to strengthen their skills. Swim Club will be offered again in the fall for the 2025-2026 school year.

We would like to congratulate Mrs. Muck on being PAX Teacher of the Month. Mrs. Muck has brought more peace, productivity, health, and happiness to Brocton Elementary School by continuing to use many PAX kernels in her classroom daily. Thank you, Mrs. Muck, for bringing more PAX into the school and students’ lives! Keep up the great work!

Today, the Brocton Central School District commemorates those we have lost on this solemn Memorial Day.

This is a friendly reminder that, in accordance with the district calendar, there will be no school on Monday, May 26, 2025, in observance of Memorial Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 27th.

This morning, the School Health and Wellness Committee proudly hosted a highly successful "Fruit Smoothie Friday" event for both students and staff. In less than two hours, over 300 smoothies were served, much to the delight of attendees. Participants expressed enthusiasm as they enjoyed a variety of flavors, including mixed berry, blueberry, and strawberry smoothies.
