Today is World Teachers Day, and the Brocton Central School District would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the incredible dedication, passion, and hard work that each of our teachers brings to their classroom.
Their unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds, fostering creativity, and inspiring curiosity does not go unnoticed. Whether they are introducing lifelong learning habits through engaging lessons, offering encouragement through challenges, or providing a safe space where students can express themselves, their influence is immeasurable. Each day, they not only educate but also empower, guiding students to dream big and aspire to greatness.
The resilience our teachers exhibit in overcoming obstacles and adapting to the ever-changing educational landscape is truly commendable. Their ability to innovate and support our students' diverse needs makes them the backbone of our community.
As we celebrate World Teachers Day, let us all take a moment to express our appreciation to the teachers who have made a difference in our lives—whether they are in our school today or from our past.
Thank you, teachers, for your passion, your perseverance, and your profound impact on our students and the Brocton/Portland community. We are Brocton Strong!

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our exceptional custodial team: Mr. Ken Roberts, Mr. Paul Barnum, Mr. James Blanchard, Mr. Ryan Bundy, Mr. Joe Dunn, Mr. Mark Furman, Mrs. Tamara Reichmuth, Ms. Valerie Lanphere, Mr. Will Powless, Ms. Heidi Suppo, Mrs. Kelly Tanner, and all of our substitute cleaning staff. Their hard work and commitment do not go unnoticed. From early mornings to late evenings, they all ensure that our school environment is not only tidy but also conducive to learning and growth. They are all an essential part of our school community, and we thank them for everything that they do!
